“The Chosen” Executive Producer Speaks in Decatur and Springfield
The Springfield Illinois Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host two free evening interfaith firesides with Brad Pelo, President of 5&2 Studios and Executive Producer of the hit television series The Chosen. These special events are open to the public and designed to uplift and inspire through messages of faith, media, and family.
Friday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at Main Street Church, 2000 N. Main St., Decatur, IL
Saturday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at the Springfield Illinois Stake Center, 3601 Buckeye Dr., Springfield, IL
No tickets are required.
Pelo will share behind-the-scenes insights from The Chosen—the groundbreaking multi-season series about the life of Jesus Christ—alongside personal stories of faith, leadership, and purpose. The evening will include a fireside-style presentation with time for audience questions.

As President of 5&2 Studios and Executive Producer of The Chosen, he has helped shape one of the most successful faith-based series in history, viewed by millions around the globe. Pelo brings a deep understanding of storytelling, innovation, and purpose-driven media to his work, and has been a frequent speaker on the intersection of faith and entertainment. He and his wife, Melody, currently reside in Midlothian, Texas, near the set of The Chosen.
